Babies under the age of 6 months are still very sensitive and when it comes to sleep, they need a complete different approach. Newborn babies are just not developed enough to be able to do a sleep coaching. Secure attachment is the most important in those first few months of your baby’s life. Crying it out or a strict sleep training won’t do any good for your baby.
Creating good sleep habits
Depending on the age of your baby, you can slowly start creating some good sleep habits and build a good sleep foundation. Depending on age I will give you many tips to find a good daily structure and sleep rhythm. I will tell you all about developments, the foundations for good sleep hygiene and how to avoid those typical “mistakes”. I will have a detailed look at your current feeding and sleeping rhythm and we will go through all your questions. Of course there will be many tips on how to optimize those nights and how you can help your baby to slowly fall asleep by themselves.
